Did you know that people who live in a state of gratitude enjoy higher levels of well-being and take charge of their life with a sense of purpose and self-acceptance?
Study after study has shown the importance of gratitude. It’s essential, positive impact on our social, physical, psychological and emotional well-being.
Though what I love more, is that these modern scientific results are merely a capstone on the echoes of age-old wisdom which has been whispering about the importance of an attitude of gratitude, since the beginning.
My daily gratitude practice was a major part of me coming to love and peace after my son passed in 2011.
I’m sure this ritual created my more positive perspective around life and loss.
