As a Beyond Loss mentor, I know that we have not really been taught how to move beyond loss.
I feel this is an oversight.
Which is quite surprising when you consider that there are over 40 different loss events that can affect our lives.
Whilst normally most of us would possibly be aware of the six more common loss events (loss of a loved one, a divorce, a job loss, our health, wealth & our pets), currently the lesser known ones are coming to the forefront; loss of freedom, loss of choice, loss of identity and change in work conditions.
